CPO® Certification (2-Day Classroom Course)
The CPO® certification program can be taken as a two-day class that covers 14-16 hours of information from the NSPF® Pool & Spa Operator Handbook and local codes taught by a certified NSPF® Instructor. This dynamic setting offers direct interaction with an instructor and fellow students. Pass the open book exam and earn CPO® certification.
CPO® Certification (1-Day Review Classroom Course)
This is the one-day training by NSPF® Instructors, which is the second day of the two-day classroom CPO® Certification course. Students must present a current CPO® certification on the second day of the two-day classroom CPO® course.
Exam Only
This requires a current CPO® to simply schedule a time with the CPO® instructor to take the CPO® Exam. Students must present a current CPO® certification and the Pool Operator Primer Record of Completion. Instructors must verify the student's identity by checking a government issued photo identity prior to allowing the student to begin the CPO® exam. The Record of Completion must also be signed by the student attesting to the fact that they independently completed the online portion of the training program.
*The exam price includes Pool Operator Primer (Online Course)
Pool Operator Primer
This is the first step to earning the CPO® Certification, and prerequisite for the Pool Operator Fusion training, using the blended format training course. The online curriculum consists of 8 lessons that cover all 18 chapters in the Pool & Spa Operator Handbook, which is included as part of the training. Successful completion earns the student a Record of Completion, which the student will be able to print from their computer.
