For more than 15 years, the Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center has been training individuals of all abilities in the sport of triathlon. Our training focuses on teaching the skills and techniques necessary to either compete in your first triathlon, or improve on your past performances. Our 12-week programs provide a first-class training facility, educational seminars, sport skills development, and coaching staff to achieve all your multi-sport goals. Our next training program starts on July 7th, 2008.

We offer three different Triathlon Training Programs. Each program is 12-weeks long and will progress and peak its participants for their chosen event.
  • My First Tri - This program is designed for the true beginner who has a low level of fitness who wants to become more active and has the desire to complete a triathlon. This program will require the ability to train 3-6 hours per week.
  • Sprint Tri - This program is for individuals who have a fitness base from other sports or have completed a triathlon in the past but now want to improve their performance. This program will require the ability to train 4-8 hours per week.
  • Olympic - This program is for individuals who are experienced triathletes who seek the challenge of going longer or those who want to improve on past performances at the Olympic distance. This program will require the ability to train 4-10 hours per week.
The focus of the programs is the successful completion or competition of the Stonebriar Ranch Triathlon on September 28th, 2008.

Fee:
$399 for Non-Members
$275 for Members

The cost of the program includes:
  • Entry fee in to your selected event.
  • 3-month membership to the Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center (non-members).
  • Bi-weekly training schedules.
  • Group training sessions.
  • Access 13 weekly coached workouts.
  • Educational seminars.
  • Strength training and flexibility routine.
  • On-line training and nutritional logs.
  • Technical training shirt.

The 12-week Program starts July 7th 2008. Informational meetings will be held June 25th and June 30th at 6pm at the center.
