The Baylor Tom Landry Fitness Center has been training individuals of all abilities in the sport of cycling for 15 plus years, training athletes who compete in the Texas Bicycle Racing Association to the new comers to cycling. Our program teaches the training principles, skills, and techniques necessary for any cyclist to be successful and safe. Our 12-week training programs provide a first-class training facility, educational seminars, and coaching staff to professionally prepare you for one of the toughest century bike rides in the country- The Hotter-n-Hell 100 (HH100).

All Cyclists are encouraged to participate, whether you are a century rookie or an established century rider looking to improve on a past performance. This 12-week training program begins in early June centering on a few simple training concepts: (1) A gradual increase in long ride mileage, (2) modest weekly mileage totals, and (3) group ride etiquette and strategies. Before starting the program all participants should have a road bike, helmet, and the ability to ride 20 miles non-stop. You also must have the availability to train 6-10 hrs per week.
